Hi guys, it’s Tanya (no, not the guy in the picture)
I’ve just spent the last two days at the Langley Tattoo Show and I have to say my eyes have been opened wide.
I never knew a lot about the tattoo and biker crowd (aside from the bad rap).
But spending the last two days at the show, the folks there were are so nice and friendly that I now feel they totally don’t deserve the reputation they got.
In fact, I’m getting a tattoo myself (pending gathering enough courage to face the needle).
And, no, I’m not tattooing myself, thank you for asking =) I have picked the local tattoo shop (i-kandy) to do my first ink.
It’s amazing to me what beautiful art some people have on their bodies and now I appreciate it even more.
Also, I’m totally blown away by the whole pinup culture. Can’t wait for the next Langley Tattoo Show in 2011.
I-Kandy does good work. I had a tattoo done there January 2010. It was all red and the ink held really well, which is a hard colour to do that with. Anypickle, I was looking for your site to refer to a friend looking for make-up for this weeks zombie walk. I got my stuff there last year and it worked out well. Hope your tattoo works out well though, take care.
